New Blog - What to wear at the office?

I have been working as a receptionist for two years now. I love it but must admit when I first began the job I found it quite a challenge to choose outfits to wear and really had to clue where to find clothes to suit my job.

In this blog im going to share a few tips to help new comers to the office environment and what is appropriate dress code for the workplace, different styles and how you can mix it up, where to find bargains and heaps more. If you have any questions or have something specific you want me to cover just comment below.

Where to start?

I started off with a few simple staple pieces - I invested $70 in buying a black skirt and blazer from Shanton it honestly was a really good investment as it lasted me a good year. The skirt however is now too big but I still use the jacket. These pieces are important because you can use these together or separately.

My rule always was black skirt + bright shirt! There is no reason for you to go for dull colours or boring patterns you really can express your personality through the clothes you wear without sacrificing the dress code your company mah have.
